2011 E-learning Benchmarking Student Survey
Vocational education and training (VET) students are having their say on how e-learning is being used in training.
The 2011 E-learning Benchmarking Student Survey, conducted by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework, is happening now across Australia.
The survey measures student attitudes towards the uptake, use and impact of e-learning, with questions around the extent technology is being used in training, the types of technologies being used and the impact of e-learning on the quality of the training.
The Framework’s Benchmarking and Research Business Manager, Annie Fergusson, said that there have been significant advancements in how technology is being used to deliver quality education and training since the last student survey was conducted in 2009.
“For this reason, the 2011 survey will be an invaluable resource for registered training organisations (RTOs) and VET teachers and trainers looking for an up-to-date snapshot of student perceptions of e-learning,” Annie said.
“The results of the survey will also help to shape how training is delivered in the future.”
More than 4,000 RTOs across Australia have been invited to ask their students to participate in the survey. The student survey commences in March and the results will be published late May.
